You might have more in common with him than you think. Kirby: Triple Deluxe does not do much different from its predecessors but it is still a fun handheld Kirby game. It isn’t too terrible exciting but it adds a little bit of replay value to the game in its entirety. This is a rhythm game starring, you guessed it, King Dedede. ![]() The other mode, more like a minigame, is Dedede’s Drum Dash. Download play also works but the person without a game cartridge is limited to a minute number of copy abilities. style fighting game where you can customize your Kirby with a copy ability and then fight locally with anyone else who has a copy of the game. One of them, Kirby Fighters, is a Super Smash Bros. Raising the replay value of the game is the addition of a few modes apart from the main story. It doesn’t really matter since the gameplay is what makes the game fun, but it would have been nice to have a great story for the game. Kirby games usually do not have very intricate stories and this game is no exception from that. I don’t remember much about it other than you being Kirby and trying to save King Dedede along with the planet Popstar. These objects are usually very large and are needed to inhale in order to solve many puzzles. After eating a “Miracle Fruit”, Kirby can inhale objects like never before. Beetle - Kirby grabs foes with his horn and slams them into. Employ new and returning abilities, including: Archer - Kirby wields a bow to strike silently from a distance. Jump from the foreground to the background in dynamic 3D side-scrolling levels. ![]() Unique to this game is the ability to become Hypernova Kirby. Kirbys powerful copy ability returns, allowing him to inhale, spit and transform. As is with every new Kirby game, there are a few new copy abilities for Kirby to steal from the enemies it inhales. Usually you travel between these two to defeat some enemy that is in the background or to complete some task. The 3D makes it so that there is a foreground and a background. Specifically, these features make use of the Nintendo 3DS hardware/capabilities. The game plays much like previous Kirby Games, especially Return to Dreamland on the Wii, but it does come with a few new features. ![]() Kirby: Triple Deluxe is another platformer delivered by Nintendo and it is home to the Nintendo 3DS. If you are, then you will be able to identify strongly with the protagonist of today’s video game recommendation, Kirby! ![]() Given that it’s been 13 years since the original game was released (and almost four since the first batch of remastered editions) the graphics aren’t going to blow anyone’s mind who is seeing them for the first time, but all of the games hold a steady framerate and feel in line with something that could have been released today. Since the file sizes are big though, gamers are in for a treat in terms of the presentation. This feels like a pretty big oversight, and particularly for the Switch, it takes away a big reason why gamers might choose to go physical over digital. The download size for all three games tops 40GB, and amazingly, even if you with the physical edition, you’ll still need 30GB available. If you’re planning on keeping the full collection on your Switch, though, you’ll need a supplemental SD card. The Bioshock games are a great fit for on the go gaming as well, particularly since outside of an odd shot at multiplayer in the sequel, they’re single player games. This was really sort of the dream when Sony came out with the PS Vita, having full-fledged console experiences available with you on the go. Now the original, sequel, and adventure in the sky Bioshock: Infinite are available to take with you on the go on the Nintendo Switch. Through broken street dates, fights over comparisons to System Shock, and evaluations of objectivist philosophy, the one thing the game hadn’t done was appear on a Nintendo console. ![]() ![]() Bioshock has been around for so long at this point it’s almost difficult to remember how excited people were when it first came out. |
